Are you an outstanding Teaching Assistant? Do you have experience in supporting children with SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health)? Have you worked with children in a PRU/SEMH setting?

MILK education are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant in the Netherley area. We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support children with SEMH.

We are looking for candidates with strong, recent and relevant experience as a Teaching Assistant. You need to be dedicated and passionate in supporting children with special educational needs and have the ability to develop strong relationships with pupils and staff. You must also be able to have an impact on pupils learning and development.

Candidates must have the below to apply:
  • Previous experience working with children who have special educational needs in a school setting, specifically behavioural difficulties/SEMH
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • At least 6 months experience working in a primary school in the last 2 years
  • Two suitable references covering the last 2 years
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Team Teach certificate is desirable but not essential
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
