Love food? Are you an aspiring Marketer? We’re on the lookout for a creative, enthusiastic and highly organised Marketing Executive with a passion for food to join our fast paced, friendly and vibrant team, working across our portfolio of B2C Events. As the Marketing Executive, you will work closely with the Assistant Marketing Manager to deliver marketing communications and campaigns through a variety of channels in order to drive ticket sales. A great opportunity for a recent marketing/events graduate with at least 1 years’ experience in an office based marketing role or a Marketing Assistant looking to take the next step in their career.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting the implementation of the overall marketing strategy and work with all suppliers and agencies
  • Supporting the team to continue to deliver strong visitor retention as well as a new visitor base to grow acquisition
  • Responsible for specific projects within the team

The Role:

  • Management of groups & schoolsmarketing campaign across all Shows comprising of direct mail, placing ads and securing PR in trade publications with overall responsibility of the schedule
  • Responsible for the all competitions across all Shows (internal & external) comprising of sourcing and securing prizes, briefs and schedules
  • Management of VIP & VIP Luxe packages fulfilment (supported by Head of Marketing and Editorial Director) comprising of reporting, budgets, communications and schedules
  • Play a key role onsite at events including customer services, VIP and VIP Luxe management and Show build up and breakdown
  • Work closely with Assistant Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing to update and manage the artwork schedule and send to designer on a weekly basis with updates and priorities to the agreed schedule on time
  • Fulfilment of all non-editorial artwork pieces e.g. ads, leaflets, posters, data capture, ticket inserts and any adhoc small pieces
  • Secure and manage key venue and box office partnerships across all BBC Good Food Shows
  • Fulfilment of marketing collateral for key partnerships including BBC Good Food.com and affiliates within the agreed marketing timeline
  • Assist with the build, proofing and execution of marketing emails
  • Responsible for implementation of all show research surveys, briefing, proofing, designing and deploying on deadline and generating top line results
  • Customer service support - first point of contact for all visitor enquiries
  • Main point of contact with call centre and box office, including box office briefs, add ons and manage timelines for all ticketing fulfilment, testing all booking pages and management of the ticket matrix, setting up and testing of promotional codes

Knowledge & Experience

  • Mathematical/statistical/analytical abilities
  • Data interrogation skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in consumer marketing desirable
