A start-up tech company aimed at connecting social sports such as basketball, tennis, volleyball and football. The company’s board includes senior executives from Sony and Apple with a proven track record giving the team an experienced network to learn from. This company has huge goals with their sports initiative and branding, so there are a lot of tasks to juggle between the team which is spread across the UK, Spain, California and soon China.
This is a paid internship. Salary: £1000 per month.
How can you expect to spend your day?

Everyone in this company is doing a big mix, wearing many varied, funky, coloured hats, including the CEO. As Graphic Design intern you will gain experience creating design solutions that have a subtle, but high visual impact, in line with brand ethos. It's an unusual role, as the company are both a brand and a brand that will work with other brands.

•During the internship you will learn how to listen to clients and understand their needs before making design decisions, whilst helping the brand improve, shape and adapt to different global markets, without losing its essence.
•Designs are required for a huge variety of products and activities, such as mobile apps, websites, decks, proposals, advertising and various collateral including business cards, brochures, c-slips, posters and displays – you will have the opportunity to gain experience producing designs for all of these touch-points.
•You’ll gain an insight into producing layouts and artwork pages ready for print along with photography and video.
•In addition to this you’ll have the chance to develop creative ideas and concepts, with the freedom to choose the appropriate media and style to meet the internal objectives and the client's.

The ideal intern’s personality and qualifications:

This internship demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines. The role will most suit a design graduate looking to join a young, exciting, well-backed tech start-up looking to make an impact on the sports sector with global aspirations. Desirable skills/personality include:
•Strong skills with Adobe Photoshop and other Adobe tools.
•Experience working with InDesign.
•Wireframe and web design experience.
•UX/UI experience.
•Someone interested in learning from the Lead User Experience tester, Marketing Team and Creative Director.
•Someone capable of communicating with clients from different backgrounds, able to develop design briefs and proposals.
•Someone who looks to constantly contribute new ideas and artwork.
