Our client has been at the forefront of global mobile satellite communications for over thirty years, and is the leading provider of voice and high-speed data communications for users on land, at sea and in the air. They are a FTSE 250 company with a profitable track record and significant growth aspirations. The next few years will see the exciting realisation of business opportunities on the company’s existing fleet of 10 satellites, as well as the launch of a joint venture with the European Space Agency and the company’s next generation satellites and services.
This is a full-time job opportunity. Salary: £22-25k depending on experience.
Key responsibilities of the role:

Over the past 5 years this company has acquired a number of businesses to strengthen and grow their commercial value and reputation as market leader. These acquisitions have led to the implementation of an HR Effectiveness programme to align global HR operations, and a new HR system success factors’ sits at the heart of the Effectiveness initiative.

The purpose of the HR System Administrator role is to support the delivery of global HR operations through the day-to-day management of success factors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop skills in a rapidly growing area of HR and within a fast paced global environment.

Day-to-day activities will include:

This role will be the first point of contact for all HR system related queries from staff within EMEA countries, and involves:

•Acting upon and resolving all queries and quickly escalating any technical issues that need further investigation
•Systems administration tasks including: data uploads, data cleansing and workflow design.
•Developing excellent communication links with the business and team members.
•Working with the HR Projects and Systems Managers to develop the HR system to best meet the organisational needs.
•Testing new and upgraded system functionality, as and when required.
•Developing training and guidance materials on the operation of HR systems and delivering training to system users if required.
•Developing and producing management information reports for the business.
•Monitoring system usage and identification of any development needs.

Key candidate requirements for the role:

•Experience and ability to work confidently with systems.
•The ability to sensitively deal with highly confidential information and data.
•Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to plan, prioritise and ultimately deliver against tasks.
•Experience of using Excel to produce reports and analyse data is preferable.
•Someone with a keen and proactive approach!
