Our client is a mobile advertising technology company. Their platform enables the easy creation, trafficking and analysis of rich, interactive mobile and tablet advertising campaigns. Creative agencies, media agencies and media owners around the globe use their platform to power their advertising campaigns.

This is a paid internship. Salary: £20,000 pro rata.

How you can expect to spend your day:

The goal is to find someone who can both execute 2 key roles for them today as well as learning about their overall business and the wider digital advertising industry. They expect that, for the successful applicant, you will outgrow this role after around 12 months or so.

This position – Business Administrator – is split into two key roles:

Sales contract administrator
You will be responsible for making sure that they have appropriate contacts in place for all campaigns that run through their platform. You will monitor newly launched campaigns and check to see if appropriate contracts are in place. If not, you will work with sales to ensure that the correct contracts are put in place. As the key point of contact for the US-based finance team, you will ensure clear communications between that finance team, the UK-based sales team and our EMEA-based clients for all contract and payment related items. An overarching goal will be for you to design, implement and manage a new and improved process with the goal of simplifying contract management and billing.

Office manager
You will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the new London office. Your duties will include meeting and greeting visitors to the office and seating them in the waiting area or meeting rooms as appropriate. This person will order varied types of office supplies and ensure that the shared office areas are tidy and organised at all times. In addition to these specific responsibilities, there will be a wide range of additional and varied tasks to perform.

It is envisaged that these roles will each require around 50% of the candidate’s time.

The ideal intern’s personality and qualifications:

To be a good fit, you should be smart, positive, outgoing, open to new ideas and change, able to self-motivate and take ownership of tasks and roles. If you don’t have a good sense of humour, then this won’t be the place for you. If you like a technology-centric, fast paced and creative environment then this might be right for you.

You’ll need to have an interest in technology, the Internet, mobiles & tablets, advertising and media in general. If you don’t have a passion (or, at this early stage a keen interest at least) then you won’t want to work in this industry for the long-term.

You will probably have a qualification in marketing, digital media, advertising or similar although we are open to the right person with a qualification outside this range.
