This is an opportunity to join award winning mobile app and digital solutions agency based in Edinburgh city centre. With a team of 30+ mobile specialists, developing native and Xamarin based mobile products along with web based backend systems for enterprise clients internationally.

Product Owners are responsible for working with Senior Product Owners, development teams and their clients to help define and deliver their product solutions, from early stage research and market analysis through to development, delivery and iteration. Early on, focus will be placed on in-development and maintenance projects, with the aim of expanding into the sales, pitch and specification process as you learn more about product at the company.

Their teams are self-driven, self-organising and empowered to make changes to their processes to best achieve their goals. You will become an integral part of that process, working with their PMs to help steer the ship through both good and bad weather.

They have a fantastic open plan modern office with Herman Miller chairs, the latest Apple kit, offer 32 days paid holiday per year, catered lunches, team meetings, all the free coffee, soft drinks, cereal and fruit you can manage!

What you'll be doing:

- Working within an agile development methodology.
- Collaborating with senior POs to learn about and feedback on their specification and delivery process.
- Help ensure delivery teams have all the product information that they need to develop a feature or scope a project.
- Learn to define and monitor the metrics which drive the success of the product and guide feature development.
- Develop your prioritisation abilities by learning to balance the needs of the client, the company and your development team.
- Facilitating decision-making and product discussions, both internally and externally.
- Manage the backlogs for projects that are in active development or have entered a maintenance phase.
- JIRA wrangling; breakdown and prioritise your team's tickets, documenting behaviour and dependencies.
- Working with cross-functional teams to split work into small, deliverable and testable chunks.
- Acceptance criteria: Breaking down the functional requirements for a ticket and gathering feedback from your cross-functional team.
- Documenting and interrogating product requirements for upcoming projects alongside stakeholders, with the aid of your team.
