Our client, a leading management, IT and technology Consulting firm based in central London, is looking for exceptionally talented Healthcare Analytics professionals to join their Strategy & Decision Sciences practice - this division helps their clients to develop strategies that deliver sustainable value.

Our client operates with key decision makers at all levels of the public and private Healthcare sector and as a Senior Healthcare Analytics Consultant you will have opportunities to help multinational pharmaceuticals optimise their international business, work across care settings to solve the NHS and Social Care's most urgent and complex problems, work with NHS organisations to understand how 'big' data can be transformed into useful information and how to use financial analysis to help large NHS departments invest for best value.

As part of their ambitious growth plans for our business, our client is looking for exceptional Healthcare Analytics professionals with 2-6 years' experience in the NHS health or social care sectors, or from within a big pharmaceutical company, with at least one of the following qualifications/experiences:

* A degree, Masters or PhD from a leading University in Mathematics, Physical or Computer Science or other appropriately analytical subjects with Operational Research based modules
* An appropriate medical or other clinical background with experience in Primary or Acute Care settings
* A background in commissioning, finances or operations for health, social care or big pharmaceutical

NHS experience is required for this role but our client will also consider experience of other health systems, such as France, Australia, Canada, USA, Germany or the Netherlands. Experience with existing NHS datasets is highly desirable.

To be successful in this role you must also have a genuine affinity for problem solving and knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques such as Forecasting, Simulation and Statistical analysis, have exceptional analytical skills, highly proficient in Excel and comfortable handling and analysing large data sets - knowledge of Access or similar database skills are highly desirable. Experience in conducting analysis for evidence-based decision making, developing models and decision support tools or building business cases for investment decisions is essential.
