This award winning financial publishing firm provides impartial investment news, data and research to their audience via magazines, websites and industry events.

Salary: £25,000.

Key responsibilities of the role:

Your role is to provide support to the Sponsor Liaison Manager. You will help maintain and nurture the relationships with our events clients. You will help enhance sponsor experience both in office and onsite at events. You will also provide admin support to the events team as and when needed.

Day-to-day activities will include:

The day to day activities are as follows and full training will be provided:

•To be the internal and external champion for our client’s fund management rating service.
•Take ownership of the annual ratings revenues and budget and ensure annual targets are met.
•To ensure that all ratings clients fully integrate ratings into their online and offline sales and marketing literature.
•To monitor and document client use of ratings and to set up meetings with clients who are failing to use ratings.
•Work closely with fund manager research to develop on-going communications with ratings clients, including regular telephone calls, emails and most importantly, face-to-face.
•Produce excel reports, presentations, marketing materials and other documents detailing and promoting ratings .
•Build a detailed understanding of ratings and reader or user databases to report on key trends which will expand the use of our data products.

Key candidate requirements for the role:

The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with strong research and interpersonal skills along with an interest to work in the finance sector.

Preferred experience:

The individual needs to demonstrate they have worked successfully within a team. An individual who is personable and adaptable in their approach to speaking to clients, customers or other external contacts on the telephone and face-to-face is key to ensuring success in this role.

Key skills:

Client engagement through strong communication skills both written and verbal. An organised and meticulous individual. Strong research and analysis, business intelligence, problem solving and project management skills. Excel based survey analysis and editorial writing. Any experience with online survey building and SPSS or statistical software would be a plus.
