This award winning financial publishing firm provides impartial investment news, data and research to their audience via magazines, websites and industry events.
This is a paid graduate job. Salary: £23,000 + benefits.
Key responsibilities of the role:

Your role is to provide support to the Sponsor Liaison Manager. You will help maintain and nurture the relationships with our events clients. You will help enhance sponsor experience both in office and onsite at events. You will also provide admin support to the events team as and when needed.

Day-to-day activities will include:

•To become the product champion for the company’s ratings products
•To ensure clients get the most out of the product,
•To work with the company’s expert fund analysts to tailor the output of the system to specific client requirements and develop new initiatives to support the client’s marketing and compliance needs
•Developing the product with the product management team and Content team to deliver additional value to clients and additional revenue
•Becoming an expert on the company’s fund manager data and online reader databases.

Key candidate requirements for the role:

The ideal candidate will have a background in finance or economics but this is not essential. Experience of working with clients or individuals outside of the business is key. An individual who is personable and adaptable in their approach to speaking to clients, colleagues, customers or other external contacts on the telephone is crucial to ensuring success in this role. The individual should show a keen interest in the use of the synthesis of data and information to build compelling stories and messages. Knowledge of the asset management industry, finance sector and marketing are all a big plus but not pre-requisites.

Relevant qualifications:

Degree or equivalent with existing work experience favoured.

Key skills:

•Client facing experience, comprehension of data and complex subjects.
•Experience in marketing and communications
•Research and analysis, problem solving, project management, negotiation.
