The Green Recruitment Company are currently working alongside a global infrastructure services company looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join its expanding Energy Performance Contracting team. This is a great opportunity to join a leading, expanding team and add value to this via new business.

The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager (Energy Performance Contracting) to join the team based in Central London where you will lead the tender process in order to win profitable EPC business within the public and/or private sectors
Candidate responsibilities
• To develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers for the ongoing development of new business
• To secure new business opportunities through strong bid management on EPC projects ranging from £1-10m
• To take ownership of all elements of the tender response for new EPC opportunities
• To deliver the bid strategy including solution development, writing bid text and costing or cost model review
• To manage bids within budget, timescale and anticipated success rate; produce management reports including approval documentation bids
• To represent the EPC business to the client, the market, consultants and stakeholders
• To manage negotiations and commercial discussions to reach the initial stages and subsequent commercial close
• To operate within the governance procedures in respect of bid management including maintaining a risk register
Candidate Requirements
• A track record of securing profitable EPC contracts
• Proven bid management experience in the EPC market
• Technical knowledge of one or more EPC service streams; operational experience would be helpful
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
• Excellent time and project management skills with the ability to bring energy and enthusiasm to the role
• Good networking skills and a presence in the EPC market
