The hiring company is a non-profit professional body for bookkeepers with offices in London and overseas. Key to the company’s success is their ability to understand their market and to communicate effectively with students, members and their key stakeholders.
This is a full-time job opportunity. Starting salary: £20,000.
Tasks & responsibilities:

This company’s expanding London headquarters team is now looking for a highly motivated and truly inspired intern who is seeking a challenging and worthwhile career in administration. This is a permanent position for the right candidate to work within the membership development and retention team. This is not the place for sinking into the background in a bloated department - this is an opportunity for someone to really shine!

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
•To maintain their client's reputation as the leading professional body for bookkeepers.
•To support the membership development and retention team in all aspects of membership recruitment, retention and support.
•To promote the benefits of membership to successful students through direct telephone contact.
•To carry out upgrades and renewals programmes through outgoing telephone contact and renewal letters and emails.
•To promote membership benefits and continuous professional development schemes.
•To review current systems and results and recommend and implement improvements.
•To analyse, monitor and report results.
•To always ensure and enable the efficient and accurate processing of membership income and data.
•To engage with their client’s marketing team on specific retention campaigns and promotional activity.

The ideal candidate’s personality and qualifications:

•You have a good degree in any subject.
•You are customer focused and an excellent, confident and professional communicator with a first-class telephone manner.
•You are proactive with a can-do attitude.
•The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible and have excellent inter-personal skills.
•Confident spoken and written English with excellent spelling, grammar and accuracy.
•Organised and able to work on own initiative.
•Innovative and results driven.
•Good IT skills with the ability to produce analytical data.
