Senior Complaints Officer – Permanent – Bristol – Up to £25k

Our client based in Bristol is currently recruiting for a Senior Complaints Officer who has a minimum of 2 years’ complaints handing experience, excellent communications skills and a desire to ensure the satisfactory resolution to any compliant quickly and effectively.

Key responsibilities for the Senior Complaints Officer:

• To effectively handle and resolve complaints within FCA regulatory guidelines.
• To achieve acceptable solutions to the complaint for both the customer and business in line with TCF principals.
• To obtain accurate complaint records
• To mentor and advise junior members of the Complaints team.
• To manage investigations as required by the Financial Ombudsman Service

Key skills & experience for the Senior Complaints Officer:

• At least 2 years’ previous experience of working in a complaints handling role.
• Knowledge of Financial Services or Insurance products such as Motor, Home and PPI Insurance products is highly desirable.
• Proficient on Outlook and MS Word.
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
