A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a University in London for a Recruitment Officer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Resourcing Manager on all resourcing tasks in a busy period of increased workload.

Outline of key deliverables for the Recruitment Officer

*To take the pressures of recruitment off of the Resourcing Manager by becoming the main recruitment function in the team
*Utilising resources such as LinkedIn and other Job Boards to source, headhunt and approach potential candidates
*Assisting with the preparation and posting of job descriptions and adverts where required
*'Owning' and updating the Recruitment Tracker spreadsheet in order to keep the Resourcing Manager up to date on the status of all vacancies
*To provide advice and support to staff on recruitment related queries and issues

The successful applicants for the role of Recruitment Officer will have;

*A degree, or substantial relevant experience in resourcing/recruitment and selection
*Excellent IT skills (Microsoft office, spreadsheets, databases, email, Internet, etc.)
*Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to liaise with staff at a range of levels internal and external to the organisation
*Experience recruiting, individuals effectively
*Experience preparing adverts, job descriptions and other HR related materials
