My client are a recognised leader in the environmental and rural sectors with an amazing track record of providing environmental consultancy & research expertise to an enviable range of clients both in the private and public sector.

Their Arboricultural Team provides diverse consultancy to developers, utilities, rail companies and Local Government. Due to a healthy project portfolio they are looking to appoint a highly motivated Arboricultural Consultant with the energy and drive to deliver high quality surveys, whilst providing excellent customer service. The successful candidates will

*Carry out arboricultural surveys and impact assessments on development sites and write reports and management plans all in accordance with BS 5837
*Undertake arboricultural surveys using the principles of Visual Tree Assessment and specify the necessary work on individual or groups of trees in accordance with BS 3998
*Produce tree risk management surveys and reports using THREATS, QTRA or other recognised system
*Manage small scale contracts within budget, on time and to client's satisfaction and deliver own work to meet the organisations commercial criteria
*Achieve personal targets and help to achieve team sales targets through building good client relations and sales activities such as visiting prospective clients, writing quotes and assisting with larger tenders as applicable to grade/salary level
*Integrate yourself into the team by working flexibly (including staying away from home) and building good working relationships within the team and with clients
*Have achieved a Level 3 Arboricultural Qualification (Qualifications Credit Framework)
*Possess a full driving licence

*Candidates for the higher range will need to show an in depth knowledge and experience of professional arboricultural such that they can work without supervision on major arboricultural contracts
