The Client is a young and dynamic, rapidly growing company that supplies high-quality, innovative nutritional supplements and medical nutrition products. They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced representative to work as a NHS Dysphagia Specialist. This exciting role will see the successful applicants working with key clinicians and across primary and secondary care in the area of Oral Nutrition
In this role you will ensure market acceptance for the product portfolio at a local level by working across varied levels of the NHS in order to grow market share through the effective implementation of local account plans. To achieve this you will co-ordinate all key stakeholders, gaining commitment and ensuring implementation at PCO, CCG and selected GP practice level.
Drive sales, advocacy and market access within a specific therapy area through successful interactions with clinicians, payers and other healthcare professionals across Primary and Secondary care.
Develop a deep understanding of the emerging multi-stakeholder environment and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of customer needs.
Effectively utilises all available resources to sell and promote product portfolio and enhance service provided by the company
Development and maintenance of relationships with key players, clinical payers, and other relevant decision makers to create the optimal environment for brand success.
Capitalize on opportunities by influencing key stakeholders to consider product portfolio and therapy areas as a priority.
Analyse and interpret clinical and sales data for therapy area.
To drive medication reviews at practice level and across the NHS utilising the appropriate influencers (eg PCOs, CCGs, GPs and retail pharmacists).
To influence target customers and to establish and maintain long term commercial partnerships.
Ensure all administration from account updates and reports to monthly expenses is completed to the required standard and within agreed deadlines.
Essential: Full UK driving licence
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to develop long term relationships at all levels across the Healthcare economy.
Have an outstanding understanding of the NHS and the NHS modernization agenda.
Able to influence key NHS personnel at the highest levels in order to drive mutually beneficial agreements.
Able to identify and develop long term partnerships with key customers who can influence uptake of products across a health economy through Medicines Management projects, Treatment Guidelines, formularies and Care Pathways.
High level of commercial acumen with a proven track record in commercializing pharmaceutical products.
Evidenced sales results.
High value interactions with customers with proven results.
Established and evidenced influencing networks in Market Access - Influencing environment.
Understands both the National and local NHS environment and their impact (e.g. patient and financial flows) on each other and local prescribing.
Aptitude to develop high level of product, competitor and therapy area knowledge.
