Quotations Team Leader

Our Esteemed client in the Scarborough area is looking for a Service Quotations Team Leader

to join their team.

You will oversee day-to-day workload and efficient delivery of quotations within the Service Division. Knowledge of generators is desirable but not essential, however you must demonstrate enough mechanical/electrical knowledge of Diesel engines to enable them to communicate, on a technical level, with our field engineers.

DUTIES

Supervise all day-to-day activities of the Quotations Team
Take ownership of larger projects / quotations as required
Ensure department targets are met – with daily monitoring of progress and management of team
Actively review assigned opportunities in order to deliver timely processing of quotations
Prioritise quotations according to urgency / client SLA / KPI requirements
Obtain quotations from sub-vendors / suppliers
Provide quotation to end client and clarify any queries raised in connection with submitted documentation
Assist with the preparation / coordination and scheduling of major service works
Create method statements and risk assessments as required for quoted works
To contribute to the achievement of department and business KPI objectives
Undertake any other reasonable tasks as directed by the Quotations & Applications Manager
PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualifications

Supervisory and administrative skills
Keyboard and computer literacy
Background in Electrical/Mechanical engineering
Experience

An understanding of service oriented IT systems
Good communication skills with both internal and external customers
Good planning, organisational and resourcing skills
Experience in EFACS or equivalent management systems, a bonus and Microsoft Office
