School: St Mark's West Essex Catholic School, Harlow, Essex
Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR 2b £4,225 (Including Outer Fringe Allowance)
Start date: January 2014

The governors of St Mark's West Essex Catholic School in Harlow in Essex are seeking to appoint a Head of Music commencing in January 2014. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional, an excellent classroom practitioner and have good leadership skills.

St Mark's is a successful, well-ordered and caring Catholic school for boys and girls aged from eleven to eighteen. Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Specialism and passion for Music

- Have excellent teaching and leadership skills

- Ability to inspire and lead a talented team of teachers

- Ability to teach Music across the 11-18 age range

- Excellent interpersonal skills

Regular and on-going training is organised.
