About You

With a Level 1 Swim England (ASA) swimming teacher’s certificate, you will have demonstrable experience of teaching children’s swimming lessons, plus excellent organisational skills and a friendly, flexible attitude. This role may be considered as a job share.

About the Role

Put your assistant teacher skills to good use to support our lead teachers in organising, promoting and delivering a varied and successful programme of swimming instruction. Maintaining high levels of customer services at all times, you will also carry out associated administrative duties.

Candidates are invited to apply for any combination of the shifts available including those within the Swimming Teacher role.

We want you to feel happy when you come to work and proud when you go home.

From the moment you join us you have the opportunity to enhance your skills. We offer a range of specialist development sessions or courses and an award winning staff health & wellbeing programme (HR Excellence Awards 2017). This means as well as opportunities to attend interactive sessions like ‘Presenting with impact’ or ‘Preparing for progression & success’, you are able to have a lunchtime stroll across our beautiful campus, book to get a trim from our onsite hairdresser, your car valeted, or get together with colleagues over free food and drink to watch the latest film on one of our Film Nights and so much more.

This is just a taste of what we are able to offer you at Edge Hill University.
