Regional Sales Engineer
Our client has a great opportunity for a Sales Engineer to join their small and friendly team within the Test & Measurement division. You will enjoy challenging situations and have the drive and determination to achieve results through a logical and systematic approach. Your mission will be to increase market penetration and grow our profitable business by providing professional, technical and commercial expertise.
The role is permanent and is “field based”
+ Create and execute an annual sales plan for the defined territory in the South West of England (order intake / sales revenue and margin targets) in line with the Regional and Business Unit’s plans for the financial year including agreed tactical action plans, and calendar of events clearly demonstrating the actual progress made against plan.
+ Manage and maintain relationships with customers, in line with the operational sales plan and the agreed personal and/or team target, achieving an expanded customer base and assure customer satisfaction.
+ Continuously improve and maintain technical and commercial knowledge. Maintain market awareness and market intelligence, ensuring feedback to sales, marketing, and management colleagues. Use the resources to expand cross selling effectiveness.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
+ Ideally degree level in technical education in a related discipline - Electrical / Mechanical
+ Strong interpersonal, organisational and time management skills
+ Excellent communication and computer related skills required.
+ SAP business software and use of CRM systems desirable
+ Current UK Driving Licence
Up to £40,000 Plus commission and benefits
