Full Time
Riverside have an opportunity for a highly-experienced and qualified insurance professional to manage Riverside’s insurance programmes during a period of exciting growth and transformation for the Group. Riverside is a leader in social housing and is a £370m turnover business with over 2,700 employees, insuring over £5bn of assets and related liabilities with a seven-figure premium spend.

As an insurance manager you will be DipCII- qualified or higher, with extensive experience and understanding of the procurement, servicing and renewal of high-value corporate insurance programmes, including related claims and risk management activity. Innovative and ready to devise new solutions, you will be able to form strong, positive relationships at all levels in the organisation and to provide an excellent service to your customers and stakeholders. You will maintain strong relationships with brokers and providers, but you will think strategically and have the commercial acumen to identify and develop potential. You will be hard-working, pro-active, diligent, and accurate. There is considerable autonomy in this role, and you will be self-sufficient and able to service all aspects of the Group’s nine insurance programmes, working with seven insurance brokers, largely under your own steam.

This role may suit a highly-experienced corporate account executive working for a national broker, or an experienced insurance manager in a comparable organisation of standing, such as a large social housing provider or a local authority.

In return we will give you 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a 35 hour working week with flexi time and access to our pension scheme. We also invest in our employees and want you to develop within the organisation and offer training and development opportunities as well as access to our Rewards gateway.

If you’re thinking of joining us, we’d love to hear from you. We encourage applicants from all sections of the community so that we can truly reflect the neighbourhoods in which we work.
