Utilises advanced skills to perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment and grounds. Working under limited supervision, monitors building system operations and performance. Utilises several trade skills

The Technician's main responsibilities for the data centre portfolio are as follows:

*Customer focused service delivery.
*Carry out maintenance and operation of all building services to deliver:
*High standard of planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
*Proactive involvement in the on-going technical evaluation of all plant and equipment, suggestion of improvements where appropriate.
*Accurate recording and reporting of maintenance activity to ensure CAFM database is correctly updated.
*Carrying out operational and maintenance activities as directed by the Shift Leader/Critical engineering supervisor, ensuring work is executed in a safe and suitable manner
*Working as directed to ensure timely completion of PPMs and reactive work to SLA.
*Identifying faults and accurately diagnosing root causes and reporting via the correct reporting process.
*Monitoring and maintaining equipment performance to ensure correct operation of the critical services of the Data Centres.
*Working as necessary to deliver completion of routine planned, and emergent unplanned, maintenance activities.
*Ensuring the maintenance of accurate plant records, information and reporting systems.
*Supervision of Sub-contractor s
*To deputise as part of the succession plan for the lead technician when appropriate
