This secondary school are keen to appoint a recent graduate as a Learning Support assistant to start immediately. The role is ideally suited for a graduate who is high achieving and ambitious, looking to gain paid experience in a support role within education prior to moving in to either teaching training or educational psychology.
You will provide support in lessons, identifying causes and triggers of pupil problems and working on strategies to support individual pupils. Providing 1:1 support and mentoring small groups of pupils will be the main basis of the role.
If you are successful you will be expected to start this role immediately. You will be provided with support from experienced teachers and be paid up to £300 per week. You will work school hours Monday - Friday.
