They are an independent provider of telecom towers, with around 8,000 active licensed sites, and the only national provider of terrestrial television and radio broadcasting.

Now, our client is looking for an Apprentice Service Desk Analyst to join them on a 12 month apprenticeship, starting Monday the 3rd September 2018.

Your apprenticeship will combine a formal education with on-the-job training. Our client will provide you with all the support you need to gain your Level 3 Infrastructure Technician qualification and become registered as an SFIA Level 3 IT technician.

Once you’ve completed your apprenticeship, you’ll have the opportunity to progress into a Service Desk Analyst role, making this the ideal position in which to carve out a rewarding career.

The Role:

As an Apprentice Service Desk Analyst, you’ll learn how to provide 1st level technical support to our client’s business customers.

During this 12 month apprenticeship, you’ll learn how to:

- Help maintain an operational service as part of the Service Desk
- Log all issues and requests using service management tools
- Resolve technical problems at first point of contact, when possible
- Carry out business process testing and produce working instructions for new services

About You:

To become an Apprentice Service Desk Analyst, you’ll need:

- At least two A-Levels (or equivalent), ideally including an A-Level in IT
- A minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above, including Maths, English and IT or Science
- A full, valid driving licence
- To be self-motivated and eager to learn
- Great team-working skills

Other organisations may call this role Apprentice IT Technician, Trainee Support Analyst, Apprentice IT Engineer, Junior Technical Support Analyst, Junior IT Support Technician or Junior Support Technician.

This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week, 9:00 – 17:30, Monday – Friday.
