Management Accountant - Supply Chain

Location -Corby

We are now recruiting for a proactive & driven individual to be responsible for the management and control of costs, capital expenditure and project appraisals across the Corporate Supply Chain function. This role is a commercially focussed role with a breadth of responsibilities that partners directly with operational leadership teams across multiple markets. The role holder will be expected to play an active part in the creation of a high performance mind-set amongst our team.

Key accountabilities:

You will be accountable for the budgets of your respective business areas and meeting group reporting deadlines.

You will work closely with members of the supply chain leadership team to ensure that costs and capital investment are well controlled and invested appropriately.

Partner and challenge the operational teams to deliver improved operational performance over time.

You will ensure appropriate cost performance and productivity metrics are in place and continually reviewed for relevance.

Assess, and where appropriate, challenge customer plans to ensure that all initiatives support supply chain in delivering our overall business strategy.

Skills required:

Essential Skills

Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

Reporting, forecasting and budgeting experience and decision support capability.

Track record of developing successful relationships with non-finance colleagues.

Self-motivated, resilient and enthusiastic.

Strong analytical skills and an ability to communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial teams.

Proficient IT skills including Excel, Word & Power-point.

Desirable skills

Prior experience of working in or with supply chain functions

Project appraisal and financial modelling skills

Experience of working across different geographies

SAP experience
