Our client is an independent boarding and day school founded in 1848. The school stands in an impressive downland estate of some 550 acres of countryside in West Sussex, east of Worthing near the village of Lancing.
A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Resident House Matron to support to the Housemaster or Housemistress and Tutors in establishing the ethos of the House; acting as a surrogate parent, offering a sympathetic ear when appropriate and advice on personal hygiene. The Matron's role provides a significant and important contribution to the overall welfare of the pupils in the school.
