Big Data Architect
As a Big Data Architect you are required to have experience of designing and implementing NoSQL databases and the necessary technologies to ingest real-time data. You will be working for a prestigious UK bank on behalf of a global tech-consultancy.
You will be working for a data-driven consultancy reporting into the project manager who has been tasked to orchestrate a digital transformation for a major UK bank. You will be working on-site with a team of developers. You will be responsible for architecting the infrastructure of a NoSQL database.
The role requires a Big Data Architect to have had experience designing a Cassandra database and implementing it in a production-level environment. You will also be responsible for implementing technologies such as Kafka, in order to cope with real-time data that will be taken from the bank's customer's using the new digitised platform. Having implemented the database, you are required to test the quality of it as well as managing several data centers.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The ideal Big Data Architect will have:
- Experience designing and implementing NoSQL databases such as Cassandra
- Exposure to real-time technologies such as Kafka
- Managed several data centers in a production-level environment
- Exposure to liaising with senior stakeholders
