RPC bpi has an exciting new vacancy at our Greenock site for a Management Accountant to support both the indupac and Wavegrip businesses.The Job
This newly created position will help support the Greenock site. With indupac being an established business unit and WaveGrip as an incubator project this role will require the successful employee to be able to balance two diverse business units.
The main accountabilities of the role will be as follows:•Monthly forecasts for internal review and action with management team•Quarterly forecasts for review and submission to RPC Group•Annualised budget preparation •Support preparation of three year strategic plans•Monthly management accounts review, commentary and action plan•Customer profitability assessment and decision on credit limits or support analysis for onward escalation for authorisation•Capex proposal preparation •Support the Greenock Management Teams for all their financial analysis•Maintain costing system, review and advise areas for improvement as a result of analysing the relevant data•Identification of areas for process improvement either within the business or how we operate with the Business Support CentreThe Person
This role would suit an ambitious, capable individual who has solid experience within a financial environment where they can demonstrate exposure to commercial transactions. You must be able to connect, build confidence and rapport with stakeholders. In addition you must be able to provide proactive and innovative solutions whilst having impeccable attention to details. Given this role sits across 2 business units you need to be a team player who is able to demonstrate flexibility and priority setting.
You must be ACCA/ACMA/CA qualified and it would be preferable if you have Cognos experience.The Package
