Accounts and Payroll Administrator
Our client a well-established, small firm of accountants based in North West Leeds, currently has an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper and Payroll Administrator to join their small and friendly team. Working alongside two other members of staff in a busy multi-client environment, duties will be varied and due to the size of the business your flexible attitude will be an advantage.
Supporting the Business Manager you will be assisting with the preparation of accounts and tax computations for companies and individuals and weekly/monthly payroll for clients with up to 45 staff. The packages used within the business include Iris Accountancy Suite, Iris Payroll, Xero and Quickbooks so any experience with these would be an advantage. Good Word, Excel and Outlook knowledge is required.
·Experience of accounts and payroll
·AAT qualification - desirable
·Experience within an accountancy practice - desirable
·Auto enrolment knowledge
·Good IT and accountancy software knowledge
·Bookkeeping for clients
·Excellent attention to detail
·Must be a team player
Duties and responsibilities:
·Prepare both monthly and annual accounts
·Complete weekly and monthly payroll
·Prepare VAT returns
·Liaise with clients both face to face and over the phone
·Email and letter correspondence
