This job is paying £112 to £192 per day on a temporary basis initially with a view to being offered on a permanent contract.

Your new role
You will be working as a teacher of Key Stage 4 Media Studies with the support of a full time Teaching Assistant/Technician. There are approximately 30 children in the class who are of mixed ability. You will work the senior management team to adhere to the schools ethos and teaching methods.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a Secondary Teacher you will need to have Qualified Teacher Status. You will also need to have recent experience within a classroom setting in the last five years and be up to date with recent curriculum changes. You will need to be a creative and positive teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst demonstrating a professional manor at all times. You will have strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt. It is imperative that you have good communication skills as this is crucial when speaking to Teaching Assistants and other people in the school.
What you'll get in return
You will be paid a teachers wage between £112 - 192 per day, based on your experience and any added responsibilities. You'll receive advice and guidance from a supportive senior management team. You'll enjoy working in an academy setting on a long term cover basis until July 2018.
