To provide Installation, Commissioning and After Sales Support for a range of both radiometric and x-ray products meeting high standards of performance and quality.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Implementing new procedures for enhancing service provision ? constantly improving / reviewing procedures.
  • To provide a main point of contact to the customer for work appropriate to their responsibilities.
  • To demonstrate a clear understanding of the instruments they are nominated to manage.
  • To demonstrate a clear understanding of the safety related role of the instruments they are nominated to manage.
  • Provide training packages for instrument systems to ensure that all staff working on the equipment are suitable qualified and nominated to do so including customers.
  • Produce accurate records of all work carried out and review records for instruments they are nominated to manage including instrument data sheets.
  • To maintain project files which contain or reference supporting documentation for the instruments they are nominated to manage.
  • Support a breakdown service for a range of instruments.
  • Support routine maintenance on a range of instruments.
  • Installation / commissioning ? production of all documentation for this process including maintenance instructions and training courses, how to instructions.
  • Provide accurate cost data for service quotations.
  • Sales / After Sales support.
  • Warranty provision.
Key Skills & Competencies
  • Knowledge of nuclear instrumentation or radiometric physics.
  • Significant experience working with or developing electronic instrumentation.
  • Ability to effectively manage a small task team.
  • Qualified to a minimum of ONC level or equivalent in physics, electronic engineering or related discipline.
  • UK driving licence.
