Transformation Hub Portfolio Management Lead - 8 month Fixed Contract
Who we're looking for
PwC UK manages its cross-firm change programmes through its Strategic Change Portfolio - a centralised portfolio of change that ensures alignment between the firm-wide strategy and programme delivery. A small central team, the Transformation Hub, provides support across each of the programmes that make up this portfolio and is divided into a number of supporting ‘capabilities’.
The portfolio management capability team comprises 3 people - a higher apprentice, Associate and a Senior Manager lead - and runs the portfolio office for PwC UK. A portfolio manager is required to fill the Senior Manager lead role, in order to drive consistent programme rigour across the portfolio to enable delivery at pace, alongside a critical focus on identifying and tracking benefits across the portfolio.
The role holder will preferably have BU or enterprise-wide experience in portfolio management, with a strong track record of successful programme delivery. Experience of portfolio-wide benefits management would be a bonus. Strong stakeholder management skills are critical, due to the complexity and seniority of the Partnership landscape.
A qualification in MSP and / or MoP would be preferable but not essential.
The role is London-based, though some travel within the UK may occasionally be required.

The portfolio capability lead will report into the transformation lead (a Partner). It is expected that the lead oversees the day to day management of the rest of the portfolio team, ensuring that their roles support both the success of the team and their personal performance management objectives.

- Programme delivery experience
- Portfolio / programme office set-up and management
- Team management
- Benefits management (from identification through to delivery)
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and management skills (preferably from c-suite -1 level)
