We're seeking a driven Design Engineer with a few years' experience at least to join a small team at a highly profitable and very secure manufacturer with global manufacturing operations turning over c£50M.
Depending upon experience this role will pay anywhere from circa 35k up to 45k. Salary aside, this role will be working with a variety of metal machined and also injection moulded products that serve multiple industries offering you a chance to expand your engineering skill set as well as becoming a key member of their team moving forwards.

This role will have elements of project engineering and project management, working on projects that demand bespoke planning to projects where high volume manufacturing will result. The site have about 60 employees so communication is key and you'll interact and support Application Engineers, CAD Designers, Sales and Manufacture.
As a Design engineer you'll naturally prepare, review and approve drawings, technical specifications, reports etc. You'll be involved with developing methods and documentation for validating new products to ensure integrity of design and that performance specifications are met.
So what do I need?
At least a few years design engineering experience within manufacturing is essential. Pressure Vessel Design experience would be fantastic yet not essential. Injection moulding experience is required and naturally great design skills with 3D modelling (ideally Inventor).
Just as important is that you are excited by an opportunity where you will see the fruition of your work due to onsite manufacturing genuinely making a difference.
