A great opportunity to work for a dynamic and rapidly expanding media company. Kelsey Media is a publisher with more than 90 brands, comprising magazines, websites and events in various hobby markets including; lifestyle, motoring and fitness. The Marketing Data Analyst will support the Marketing Managers and Executives by helping us to understand the effectiveness of each marketing campaign. The role will involve analysing the data from various channels to establish effectiveness and lifetime values of marketing campaigns, so we can improve what we do in future initiatives.

Duties and responsibilities:

·Monitoring and developing key corporate assets – such as the website and social media accounts.

·Planning and implementing audience growth and data enrichment campaigns for key brands through email and social media.

·Developing e-marketing automations that may improve response and engagement

·Designing and implementing audience surveys

·Data management – extracting, cleansing, manipulating, centralising of data from a wide range of data systems and ensuring we remain fully GDPR compliant

·Analysis of quantitative and qualitative data and interpretation of results to produce meaningful insight and actionable recommendations.

Working with other relevant departments to make sure data is collected and managed correctly.·Assist with the running of optimised PPC campaigns using Google Ad Words

·Facebook and Instagram Ads reporting and analysis

Creating and maintaining metrics, reports and dashboards that measure all digital marketing impact to inform ROI and help shape future campaigns.·Making recommendations to help improve existing analysis - develop benchmarks and measures for marketing effectiveness.

Assisting in putting together reports and PowerPoint presentations for senior stakeholders.Skills and Experience:

Excellent written skills – ability to create content for various audiences.Ability to communicate confidently and clearly with colleagues and external partners.Experience of data manipulation.Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from dataFamiliarity with Google Analytics, Excel, social media insight tools, CMSs and email marketing/automation platformsHighly organised, ability to effectively prioritise and work autonomously.Must be able to demonstrate understanding and experience of digital marketing including metrics, trends and techniques and have a deep interest in this area. This may also be backed by academic study.1 year + digital marketing / data analyst experience.Personal qualities: You will be organised with excellent communication skills; driven, enthusiastic and committed, good at working under pressure, a good team player with a can-do attitude, and quick to learn.
