In this commercial sales role you will be responsible for delivering quarterly and annual territory targets for promoted products within BD PAS (Pre Analytical Systems) by understanding the needs of our customers and positioning BD's solution to meet those needs in a profitable manner.

The product portfolio includes all BD Vacutainer® products and value added solutions (blood collection tubes, safety needles and blood collection sets, blood collection accessories, arterial blood gas syringes, capillary collection, urine collection, transport solutions,).

Key areas of focus within the hospital environment will be Laboratory, Phlebotomy, Occupational Health, Infection Control and Procurement.


- Deliver quarterly and annual territory targets in line with budget expectations for the financial year.
- Focus on sustainable sales growth for territory and region by understanding and working within revenue expectations guidelines.
- Understand customer goals & drivers to build strong and mutually beneficial relationships, positioning BD as the partner of choice.
- Proactively develop and implement territory plans for sustainable, long term sales success. Review and alter this plan in line with BD PAS strategy & direction. Follow account management plan by area growth, to focus on agreed focus accounts.
- Effectively manage account priorities to position, sell & implement BD Added Value Services, where this offering will maximise sales opportunity.
- Effective delivery of BD Value Add Programmes (laboratory services, training & education).
- Conduct and manage product trials & in-service process as part of account conversion, with support from Clinical Manager where appropriate.
- Work effectively with the Regional Sales Manager, Clinical, & Marketing team to maximise business potential.
- Achieves standards, expectations and performance as agreed with manager.
- Communication of market and competitor information.
