JOB TITLE: Quality System Engineer

SALARY & BENEFITS: Dependent on experience

WORKING HOURS:9.00am – 5.30pm – Monday to Friday

THE COMPANY: Our client is a well established and respected company within their industry with a wealth of internationally known clients. Within a small team based in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire they pride themselves on the service they provide and deliver within the standards in which they have set. They now have a new position in the organisation for a Quality System Engineer.

THE ROLE: As the Quality System Engineer you will work alongside the Quality manager based at our clients office in Wisbech St Marys, Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. You will work closely with the Quality team to offer your engineering quality department knowledge and experience. This role offers training for the right candidate but some experience in using measuring equipment / tools is an essential requirement.

This a fanatic opportunity for someone to come into the business to learn and grow within the company.

Key Responsibilities to include:-

  • Responsible for measuring of parts and components
  • Micrometer – Vernier - Height & Gauge Surface Testers
  • Carry out metrology studies & part analysis
  • Liaising with customers when necessary

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for the Quality System Engineer role will come from an engineering quality control environment.. Experience within a quality department is essential. You will have the ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with both colleagues and customers. You will have a technical bias and have a flexibly attitude.

Key experience essential for the Quality System Engineer role:
  • Good writing style
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to listen attentively and assess situations
  • Read & understanding regulatory requirements
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain
  • ISO9001:2015 & ISO13485
  • Experience within an office offering PPAP documentation
  • Previous knowledge of PPAP Processes and Quality Management Systems will be an advantage.
