Flexible part time hours available for an Accountant with experience in an Accountancy Firm. Ideally around 15 hours a week, either part or full days available, in small friendly team.

Part time Practice Accountant- About the Role
  • Very small, friendly office environment
  • The majority of the client base is small Limited companies and most clients are lovely
  • Flexible part time hours to suit (circa 15 hours a week)
  • Will consider ACCA, ACA or AAT qualifirf or qualified by experience
  • Working in a small team, with other Part time staff

As the Part time practice accountant you will
  • Wide range of interesting work available
  • Assisting Director with:
  • Accounts preparation (bank reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets etc)
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Corporation tax returns
  • Personal tax returns
  • Potentially some payroll processing
  • Ad hoc office and administrative tasks

The successful Part time Pratice Accountant will have
Minimum Requirements:
  • Practice experience, ideally in a small firm
  • Experience using IRIS and Excel. SAGE experience would also be useful
  • A good understanding of double entry
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Will be happy to work on own at times once settled, due to the size of the firm
