Java Developer - Real Time Java Applications - Global Gaming Business
If you're a Java Developer looking for a new challenge working as part of an award-winning inhouse development team working on real-time applications & systems using Java 8, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data, MongoDB, Apache Camel, RESTful webservices, Microservices, Docker, Jenkins and Agile development principles this job could be right for you.
As part of an Agile team, you'll proactively collaborate with others in solving challenging technical problems within distributed environments whilst design and developer high quality, highly performant and maintainable code using best development practices (TDD, BDD, Pair Programming).
- Good server-side core Java development
- Message-driven architecture experience with either JMS, RabbbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Apache Camel
- Strong understanding in Spring frameworks
- Experience using REST
- Database development; either SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, MySQL
- Knowledge in Docker, Kubernetes, Continuous Delivery & Integration using Jenkins would be highly desired.
- 3+ years commercial Java development experience

The Salary & Benefits
Salary for this Java Developer job ranges anything between £50,000 - £70,000 dependent on level of experience and general technical acumen. On top of this, you will be entitled to a great benefits package that includes 10% annual bonus, 8% pension scheme, private medical cover, 26 days' holiday (plus public holidays), flexible working hours, VISA sponsorship (non-EU candidates), relocation package, training budget plus much more.
