Industrial Sales Engineer

- £25,000 - £30,000 + 3% bonus
- 25 days leave + 8 Bank Holidays
- 39-hour week - 8am-4:30pm Mon-Thur and 3:30pm finish on Fridays
- Expensed company car + phone + laptop
- 3% matched pension

Territory: UK wide patch

Location & where you can be based: Leicestershire, Derbyshire, South Nottinghamshire, West Midlands (South), Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire

My client is a leading manufacturer of industrial engineered products supplied to a variety of sectors including Warehousing, Distribution and Manufacturing. This fantastic business encompasses sales, design, manufacture, build, install & service and provide a first-class total turnkey solution.

The growth my client has experienced over the past 10 years is phenomenal. In 2008 this business generated a total of £1.2m annual revenues and closed out 2017 with an impressive £15m turnover.

Because of this record-breaking success, my client is looking to bolster the Sales Team to support this growth by recruiting a dynamic, self-motivated and commercially & technically astute Industrial Sales Engineer.

The role of the Industrial Sales Engineer will be as follows:

- Selling a range of industrial engineered solutions to UK customers with the occasional overseas travel.
- You will sell to End Users and Distributors and encompass a mixed role of new business and account management.
- Leads will be self-generated as well as responding to internal RFQ's / RFI's.
- Your role will be both office and field based (3.5 days per week) therefore, it's imperative you are commutable to the UK HQ.
- You will also be responsible for market planning, customer development, obtaining RFQ's (request for quotes) and following up & closing out new quotations.
- Meet all clients' face to face, carry out site surveys and to perform technical and commercial sales presentations.
- Establishing current and up and coming projects for new business wins.
- Work with internal engineering teams such as project, design and production to formulate & finalise technical bids and quotes.
- You will be required to grow and maintain all new customers generated and to take full ownership in the development of the account.
Experience and background:

- Experienced Industrial Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer, National Sales or a related sales role.
- A proven track record in industrial / technical sales with either a mechanical, industrial or electro-mechanical type product or system.
- A dynamic, enthusiastic, self-motivated and commercially / technically astute individual is required.
- Full EU driving licence.
