Electrical Installation Engineer
My client in the High Peak area are looking for competent Electrical Installation Engineers. They are a very successful and growing business and have been around for over 30 years. They are global and work with blue chip companies. They supply high quality precision equipment and have developed a reputation for technical excellence.
You will be required to complete on-site installations, mechanically but electrically biased, based in the UK and abroad. You will need to be able to configure and read diagrams and plans. Test and evaluate new products and perform electrical safety tests. As you will be face of the company, good customer support skills are required.
You will be required to be on-site for block periods and you will need to attend pre-installation meetings and spend some of the time at the Head Office here in the High Peak. You will be required to report feedback and recommend any changes to the Projects and Design teams. You will need to be competent at fitting and measuring. Welding is desirable and some training will be provided.
You will need to have City & Guilds or be qualified to NVQ Level 2/3 in Engineering.
When you are on site you will be expected to work 10 hour days. Expenses will be paid and a works van is provided. The company are offering good benefits plus a salary of £35-38K. When you are working at the H.O. the hours of work are Mon - Thursday 7.30 - 4.30 and an early finish on a Friday 7.30 - 1.30!!
