The Role
A rare opportunity has now arisen for a dynamic Head of Corporate Commercial to join a highly regarded team based in Peterborough. Working closely with the senior management team, the successful Solicitor will oversee day to day management tasks, alongside a full caseload, utilising their skills and expertise in commercial and corporate transactional work to deliver high quality client care and service at all times. Areas may include: mergers and acquisitions; joint ventures; drafting and negotiating commercial contracts; advising on data protection; corporate restructuring and; outsourcing.

Passionate about business development, the successful Head of Corporate Commercial will immerse themselves in initiatives, building and maintaining long-standing client relationships to generate referrals and repeat business. The Candidate
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors or Salaried Partners with a minimum of 10 years’ PQE;
Be technically proficient with solid corporate transactional and commercial experience;
Demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills;
A following of client or strong contacts within the local market are highly advantageous;
Possess excellent communication and client care skills;
Work well as part of a team as well as on your own initiative;
Be personable, highly organised and detail orientated;
Have a proven track record of business development.
