Here at Landmarc we are looking for a Lead Application Developer to join our team at Westdown Camp in Tilshead to deliver the latest technologies to our high profile customer, the Ministry of Defence.

This is a permanent role working 37hours per week Monday to Friday.

The lead developer role will be split into two roles essentially, offering a diverse range of opportunity as a developer but also working as a Solutions Architect. As the Lead developer you will be part of our growing business and have the ability to define and develop solutions in a service orientated architecture where the enterprise architecture is already defined and established.

You will be highly skilled in the development of Software Solutions using ASP.NET, C#, MVC 4/5, .NET framework 4.5 to also include,


•Entity Framework
•Dependency Injection
•Nuget Package Management
•REST Services
•SQL Server
•SOLID software engineering
•Have the ability to mentor and guide other developers

Desirable qualities for the role are:

•Continuous Integration
•Source control and Application lifecycle management with Microsoft Team Foundation Server
•Familiarity with working in AGILE environment
•Business intelligence
•Java Script
•Experience of Software as a Service in Microsoft Azure environments


•Maintain the Enterprise Architecture and manage its evolution
•Define Solution Architectures aligned with the principles of the Enterprise Architecture
•Work with the Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect tool using TOGAF and Archimate to document solutions
•Work with and across project teams to provide architectural guidance in the delivery solutions
•Produce White Papers and technical options to support business cases
•Design, document, develop and test changes to new and existing services in line with the IT Development Process and the IT Project Management Process
•Ensure that solutions are designed to meet business requirements. This may entail working with a designated Business Analyst or performing analysis yourself, in order to drive out functional and non-functional requirements from the business specification
•Responsible for implementing fully tested software changes to the live environment in accordance with IT processes
