Reporting directly to the Area Manager, The Cluster Manager position is crucial to our organisation; you will actively encourage and ensure collaborative working with colleagues across the Cluster, Branch Network and wider business.

You will lead and manage a cluster of branches within our Branch Network, with the overall management responsibility for your cluster together with the day to day management of a hub branch. Additionally, you will be pivotal in driving our "All Under One Roof" proposition by increasing customer and member numbers, actively encouraging your team to listen to customers with a view to probe and spot opportunities for our Building Society, Estate Agency and Financial Planning offerings.

The key responsibilities of your new role include:

Lead, develop and support your team members across the cluster
Ensure collaborative working with colleagues within the cluster, across the branch network and wider business acting as a role model to others, encouraging team work to deliver a great customer journey
Ensure all team members are recruited, trained and effectively managed to achieve compliant high performance standards
Develop and drive cluster business plans including SWOT analysis that enables agreed business results targets to be delivered
Support the Network Property Sales Manager, ensuring relevant assistance is provided to the Property Sales Managers by your cluster teams to achieve performance, targets, referrals and customer service expectations
Actively promote a customer focused culture throughout all customer facing channels, ensuring that customers' needs are met within all aspects of our home services portfolio
Identify trends and implement effective and appropriate solutions to drive business performance
Promote and manage the brand profile within the local community to attract, acquire and retain customers
In conjunction with Field Risk Managers, identify and assess all business risks in relation to own role and ensure that shortfalls in cluster branch risk assessments are addressed
Ensure compliance in all policies and procedures, meeting all regulatory requirementsYou will:

Demonstrate a good level of industry knowledge around financial services and/or estate agency
Have experience of leading a team in a high volume environment
Have a strong commercial vernacular and business acumen, including excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
Have knowledge of Conduct and Operational risk and TCF principles
Have understanding of T&C principles and working within these frameworks
Boast spectacular organisational skills, and able to balance your workload with deadlines
Possess strong people management skills, including the ability to motivate employees
Have previous experience in working in a customer service driven environment
