The Role

Responsible for implementing publishing activities across our websites, you’ll work closely with the marketing, content and trading teams to deliver an engaging site experience for our millions of visitors, understanding the key touchpoints in our customer journeys and directly influencing the commercial outcome.

Working as part of the trading team you will manage the critical paths for site production ensuring consistent, on-time and accurate delivery of site publishing plans. You’ll develop your expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (our ecommerce platform) to drive engagement and conversion through testing and optimising internal search, product sorting rules, x-sell and promotional messaging, on site personalisation and AI driven online merchandising.

You’ll provide reporting insight back to the trading team and wider business helping us develop and optimise the customer journey and our trading effectiveness.

About You

Highly curious and adept at developing new skills – you will have worked within an ecommerce team, most likely as a first role or internship and will be eager to learn and develop hands-on experience of trading a busy ecommerce fashion website. You may not have experience for the specific tools we use – for example our ecommerce platform, but you will have a track record of getting to grips with new technologies quickly. Highly numerate, with a strong eye for detail, you will be comfortable working in an environment that has a high dependency upon analytical judgement.

The scope of this role covers:

Responsible for site publishing you will ensure the accurate and timely delivery of site content in-line with marketing, trading and content plans.You’ll ‘own’ the delivery of site landing pages coordinating planned activity in-line with trading, paid channels and SEO objectives.Manage and maintain internal site search and product sorting rules, reporting relevant KPIs and the outcome of tests back to the ecommerce team.Analyse and identify conversion opportunities, working with the buying and merchandising teams to maintain and improve product listing and product page quality.Working the UX/trading team you’ll help implement the personalisation strategy – managing consequent changes to workflow as we develop more personalisation automation across the site.Responsible for setting up, maintaining and reporting on promotion codes across the sites, you’ll coordinate relevant activities with marketing and communicate planned activities out to the Customer Service team.Working alongside the merchandising team, you’ll help manage the product lifecycle ensuring the efficient publishing and de-listing of products and product ranges.Seek out opportunities for personal development, regularly reviewing competitor activity and engage with available training (particularly for Google Analytics / Salesforce CC Business Manager, Einstein [Online Merchandising AI]and SEO), seminars and industry insight.In the coming year, we envisage the three biggest focuses to be:
