An opportunity has arisen for an Android Mobile Developer to work on a varied workload of projects, change requests and systems maintenance. We build, host and maintain the majority of our systems and applications; supporting our head offices and our teams out in the field. Our business systems team is responsible for reviewing business requirements and translating these into business enhancing, mobile first, applications that we then design, build and implement in line with industry best practice standards. We host our own cloud and manage our own infrastructure which enables us to be innovative and stay ahead in our industry.

We are keen to find someone committed and ready to make a contribution to our success and to continue our growth by building upon our established enviable reputation amongst our existing clients as well as developing our capabilities into new markets.

Skills and Experience

Knowledge and experience of developing on the Android mobile platform, including the use of Android SDK, Android Studio, APIs and SQLite

Attention to detail with UI and UX

Wireframe experience

Experience with Material Design and Git preferable

An excellent communicator both verbal and written

Be proactive in your approach

Self-motivation, passion and a driven ‘can do’ attitude

Be collaborative and forward thinking; maintaining a healthy knowledge of industry changes and technology advancements
