Tax Manager - Fareham - Up to £60,000
OA Executive is looking to recruit an experienced Tax Manager for a newly created position within a market leading international business based in Fareham.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director as part of a growing Finance department, you will take accountability for all UK Tax activities. Based in an open plan office amongst the Finance team, your typical daily duties will include:
- Advising and supporting business units, department and projects on fiscal matters
- Co-drafting and calculating company tax fillings
- Liaising with the Tax Administration and administrative authorities and coordinating their examinations and audits
- Advising on VAT issues
- Executing specific fiscal projects
- Monitoring and following up on changes in fiscal law
- Preparation of UK VAT returns
This is a varied role that would suit an experienced Tax professional with extensive knowledge and experience within corporate tax income, payroll taxes, VAT and dividend tax. If this experience comes from within an international and / or project setting this would be an even bigger advantage to your application. Ideally you will also be educated to degree level.
Furthermore this position will suit a driven individual who can improve processes, implement new systems and drive the department forward. You will be self-motivated, ambitious and eager to enhance your career.
In return for your efforts you will be offered a competitive remuneration package which compromises of a basic salary of £50,000-60,000 (depending on experience). On top of this you will also be entitled to 25 days annual leave, private healthcare, critical illness cover and much more.
