So, what’s the job?

As the successful candidate, you will be working within the global IT team to provide support in key areas and to build on knowledge & technical experience in an IT environment. You will report in to the Service Desk Lead, the role will involve:

·Identifying, evaluating and implementing ideas for continuous improvement in service delivery & internal IT processes and procedures.

·Be responsible for overseeing the purchasing of IT equipment & software and maintaining any associated lists/databases.

·Hold the team accountable for the delivery of records; updating information/data as/when required.

·Working with the IT team on the development of documentation (e.g. Work instructions and checklists etc).

·Participate in the setting for team meeting agendas & discussion topics.

·Participate in the creation of IT communication material.

·Assisting with answering phone calls as part of the Global Service Delivery Team.

·Undertake travel booking for team member site visits.

·Building understanding and experience of the technology use within the business and IT.

Who is the ideal candidate?

You will an interest in IT with an educational background in either IT or Business Admin. No previous experience in an IT position is necessary as you will have on the job training and support in this role. As this role is an entry level position, we are looking for someone with the right attitude you will be process driven, flexible and highly organised.

You will have a good understanding of Microsoft Exchange/Outlook, Microsoft Office and enterprise tools, alongside strong attention to detail and good communication skills. There may be a requirement to travel & work outside of core hours on occasion.
