Legal PA - Private Equity/Corporate

The role itself is hybrid and will encompass a mixed bag of PA responsibilities from diary management, conference call and seminar arrangements, international travel and itineraries to extensive client interaction; building a strong network of relationships both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will have experience gained within the Legal arena (preferably with Corporate/Banking/Finance experience) who is looking for a fresh and exciting challenge.As a Legal PA you will be responsible for:·Delivering a high quality and professional service to a Partner and small team of Fee Earners in Corporate·Complex diary management, scheduling ever-changing diaries, managing and resolving conflicts on a global basis, meetings, conference calls, lunches·Total inbox management, handling client enquiries both internally and externally·Arranging all business travel including flights, accommodation, Visas, currency, transfers and itineraries and all meeting schedules·Accurate and regular maintenance of filing systems, e-filing, and archiving and retrieval of files from store and opening new matter files·Preparing and producing bills, keeping accurate records of expenses/disbursements/fees for client billing, liaising with billing department to monitor payment of fees and responding to internal and external requests for back up documentation and further information·Enquiries, resolving or escalating (or identifying alternative contacts) as appropriate·Building an understanding of the nature of the fee earners' work, get to know their clients and build relationships with them and the client PA's·Producing long, accurate complex house-style documents, manuscript amends, audio dictation and document comparisons·Demonstrate strong organisational skills, regularly acting on own initiative, highlighting issues and suggesting possible solutionsPersonal Core Competencies:·Previous PA experience within the Legal Arena in Corporate, Banking or Finance law·Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with people at all levels ·Ability to cope with numerous conflicting demands in a calm and unflappable manner·Client orientated approach - client focused both internally and externally·Self-motivated, keen to take ownership of work and responsibilities·Billings experience·Ability to think on feet and work calmly in a fast-paced and pressured environment·Willing to become involved with a desire to learn and flexible to do overtime·Advanced MS Office knowledge and minimum typing speeds of 60wpmTo apply, please send your CV with your contact details to Nicola Zengin.Hartbrooke Associates offer a 'recommend a friend' incentive scheme to all registered candidates who kindly refer colleagues or friends to us!
