Apple Mac Support/ Desktop Support engineer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Apple Mac / Technical Support analyst to join well established blue chip organisation in London.

As a Apple mac Support/ Technical Support analyst you will have strong apple mac support skills you will have good troubleshooting understanding of End User Computing devices ( Laptops, desktops, tablets, printers) and good understating of Windows and also MAC OS.

Core tasks/deliverables
* End user hardware installation & issuing:
o Corporate personal computers (laptops, desktops, tablet PCs) - full build & setup for users, following company standards
o Smartphones - assistance with setup of corporate devices, especially for
senior executives (but mainly a self-service model for users)
o Corporate accessories - issuing keyboards, headsets etc.
o Corporate IP desk phones - set up of phones on desks where used
o Meeting room technology (TV sets, Video Conferencing Units, Projectors &
other equipment) - mainly assisting 3rd party provider with setup &
network connectivity
o Printers - connecting to network, setting up print queues (hardware is
supported by 3rd party)
* End-user incident management and resolution for the above technology,
within agreed SLA.
* Basic diagnostics for hardware.
* Management of PC replacement cycles according to company procedures.
* User training - basic training when handing over a new device to the user,
plus ad-hoc training as appropriate to help reduce incidents/questions to
* On-site hands and eyes incident management for supported devices (that
cannot be resolved remotely).
* Basic server & telecoms tasks that cannot be done remotely by server
support provider, such as racking and cabling.

Your customer skills will be second to none as this an extremely customer focused role.
