Our client a successful organisation based in Hinckley that's gone through superb growth in the last few years is looking to appoint a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk or Purchase Ledger Supervisor to their small friendly team.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager you will be responsible and accountable for managing the Purchase Ledger function. As one of two Seniors, specifically responsible for the management and motivation of the Purchase Ledger Team; the communication and interaction with all stakeholders; and the identification and implementation of efficiencies in processes and systems. Working with the Line Manager to deliver smooth and effective transformation in the Purchase Ledger function and meet the growth aspirations of the business.

Principal Accountabilities
- Lead the Purchase Ledger Team in line with business processes
- Determine, monitor achievement, and review the Purchase Ledger Team Action Plan
- Implement, monitor, and act on Purchase Ledger Team KPIs
- Ensure HMRC and audit compliance within the Purchase Ledger function
- Deliver system compliance with the changing needs of the business and legislation
- Security of data and access
- Management of accurate and timely processing of invoices, credits, payments, and supplier queries
- Reconciliation and backup of transactions processed
- Monthly review of Creditors Ledger and Cashflow with the Accounts Team
- Ensure suitability and documentation of process, establishing Purchase Ledger Team SLAs with internal and external customers, monitoring their attainment
- Effective training of team members
- Development of business reports
- Identify and drive efficiencies of process within the Purchase Ledger function
- Identification and development of team members

Personal Attributes
- Advanced IT and systems experience, particularly Excel
- Transformational and solutions orientated
- Commercial acumen
- Proven ability to work to tight deadlines, demonstrating excellent time management and organisational ability
- Team management and development skills
- Self motivated, team player, able to work autonomously within a framework, with minimum senior input
- High levels of enthusiasm, personality, can-do attitude, and drive
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Full Driving Licence
