Could you create and implement a structured programme of testing and optimisation across ActionAid UK’s digital channels to increase our fundraising and help grow our public profile as a charity focused on the rights of women and girls?

This role will optimise income generation as well as audience engagement and improve overall user experience. You will also establish ways of working that drive a test and learn culture and help to embed evidence-based decision making across the organisation.

You will work with digital and fundraising colleagues to understand user behaviour on our website and identify opportunities for improvement. With the digital team you will prioritise rollout of new features and enhancements as well as benchmark our website against competitors and businesses outside the sector, to identify potential opportunities for growth.

Using your knowledge of UX good practice you will create a rolling programme of A/B tests to increase conversion rates on our key product pages. You will be responsible for implementing a structured approach to documenting, reporting and acting on insights gained from testing cycles and producing reports and recommendations.

As a champion of testing and optimisation across the organisation you will also keep up to date with digital channels, innovation and good practice, and share insights with colleagues in clear, focused reports and presentations.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar optimisation role managing the full testing cycle. You will have strong experience of A/B and multivariate testing and an excellent knowledge of UX and a user-centred approach to design.

To develop an effective and mutually supporting relationship with fundraisers who are working on digital It is not always possible to tightly define pieces of digital work, which require flexibility and agility, so your ability to interact, integrate and support with these teams is critical.

Commercially aware, you will have a good understanding of digital trends and markets. You will also have excellent knowledge of web optimization, Google Analytics and other Google products.

Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail, you will have a track record of improving conversion rates. With superb planning and prioritisation skills, you will have the ability to work under pressure on multiple tasks simultaneously.

With strong stakeholder management skills, you will be persuasive and diplomatic with a highly positive attitude towards collaborative working. Good copywriting skills and basic web development skills are desirable.
